Custom Newsletter Periods
Newsletters no longer have to follow fixed Q1–Q4 quarters. You can now choose any start and end month within your financial year when building a newsletter — useful for organisations that publish on a different cadence (e.g. three times a year). The "Quarterly" wording throughout the app has been replaced with "Period" to match.
Updated Compliance Terminology
Labels across the app and public website now reflect the government's renumbering of the Income Tax Act:
- NGO → RNPO (NGO)
- Section 12A/12AB → Section 332
- Section 80G → Section 354
- Form 10BD → Form 113
- Form 10BE → Form 114
"NGO Darpan" and "Section 8" are unaffected, as these are unrelated proper nouns.
Fixes
Newsletter AI drafts sometimes mixed up project content
When generating a newsletter draft with AI, body text, photos, and testimonials could occasionally be attached to the wrong project, so the generated section didn't match the project it was meant to describe. This is now fixed.
Single project photos were cropped in newsletters
When a newsletter section had just one photo, it was squeezed into the same small thumbnail box used for multi-photo grids, cropping the subject near the top or bottom. Single-photo sections now display at a proper hero size instead.
