Collect Donations at Event Checkout
Events can now be configured to collect an optional donation from attendees at the time of registration.
- A donation field appears on the checkout form; attendees can enter any amount or leave it blank.
- The donation is added to the order total and included in the payment to PhonePe.
- The order list and CSV export show the donation amount separately from the ticket subtotal, so you can reconcile the two independently.
Collect Attendee Address at Checkout
Events can also be configured to capture the purchaser's address during registration.
- Address fields appear on Step 2 of the checkout for events where this is enabled.
- The address is saved against the registration and visible on the Registration Detail page.
- This supports attribution of donations to an identified individual, as required under Indian tax provisions (s.115BBC).
Program Detail Page on Subsites
The Learn More button on the Programs section of a subsite previously opened a small modal popup. It now links to a dedicated full page for each programme.
The programme detail page shows:
- The full programme description
- Open batches with dates
- Centre location with a map link
- An Enquire button — all within your subsite's themed layout
This gives prospective beneficiaries a much richer view of what each programme offers.
Event Payment Total Fix
A bug was fixed where the amount sent to PhonePe could be incorrect in certain checkout scenarios:
- Orders with multiple ticket types now correctly sum each attendee's actual ticket price before applying any discount, rather than using a single ticket price for all.
- Discount codes are now applied to the full order subtotal, not per ticket.
- These fixes ensure the amount charged at PhonePe always matches the breakdown shown on the checkout summary.
OTP Login Fixed on Subsite Registration Pages
Two issues that could block attendees from completing registration on subsite pages (*.managemytrust.in) have been fixed:
- OTP login via email was silently failing on subsite registration pages because the security verification (reCAPTCHA) was not loading correctly. This is now fixed — the OTP form works as expected.
- The country → state cascade on address fields was returning a 404 error on subsite pages. States now load correctly when a country is selected.
