Self-Serve Organisation Onboarding
New organisations can now sign up and get started on ManageMyTrust entirely on their own — no manual intervention required.
- Sign up with an email address and verify it via OTP.
- Upload your NGO Darpan certificate — the platform reads it automatically and extracts your organisation's sectors and office bearers for you to review and confirm before anything is saved.
- Once confirmed, your organisation, admin account, and initial documents are all created in one step.
- If you close the browser partway through, you can resume exactly where you left off using a unique link — no half-created records are ever left behind.
Guided Setup Checklist on the Dashboard
After signing up, a step-by-step setup checklist appears on the annual overview dashboard, guiding you through completing your organisation's profile: uploading documents, adding team members, setting up sectors, programs, your website, and more.
- Each item shows its current completion status, computed live from your actual data.
- You can skip or dismiss individual items, and the checklist remembers your choices.
- Organisations that already have data (donors, events, projects) skip the relevant prompts automatically.
Use Your Own Domain for Your Subsite
Org admins can now point a custom domain (e.g. www.yourngos.org) at their ManageMyTrust subsite.
- Enter your domain in the website settings page.
- Verify ownership by adding a DNS TXT record as instructed.
- Once verified, your subsite is accessible at your own domain without any redeployment or support request.
Email Verification at Event and Program Registration
Attendees and donors must now verify their email address via OTP before completing registration or making a programme donation.
- An OTP is sent to the primary attendee's email as part of the checkout flow.
- The verified email is locked in for that session — the form cannot be submitted with a different address.
- This applies to event registration, sponsor ticket registration, and programme donation flows.
News & Updates
News & Updates can now be associated with Programs, Events and Projects:
News & Updates — each news item has its own page with a Details tab and an Updates tab showing the timeline of updates posted against it. Truncated news descriptions on the listing section now show a More link that opens a popup with the full text.
Smarter Subsite Setup — Pre-Populated Pages
When creating a new subsite, instead of six blank pages you now get a checklist of nine ready-to-use pages to choose from: Home, About, Team, Programs, Projects, Gallery, Contact Us, Privacy Policy, and Terms & Conditions.
- Home, Contact Us, Privacy Policy, and Terms & Conditions are always included.
- Each page is seeded with real section content matching the subsite editor's own templates, so you start with a working page rather than a blank canvas.
- All provisioned pages are published immediately.
New Image Carousel Section for Subsites
A new Image Carousel section is available in the subsite page editor. It renders photos from any album as a continuously scrolling strip of thumbnails. You can configure the album, an optional heading, and the scroll speed (slow, medium, or fast). Clicking any thumbnail opens a lightbox with the full image and Prev/Next navigation.
Album Visibility Controls
Albums can now be configured to appear in specific subsite sections independently:
- Use in a carousel / spotlight — makes the album available for the Image Carousel and Album Spotlight single-album sections.
- Show in the photo gallery — makes the album appear in the multi-album Photo Gallery section.
Both are on by default. This lets you use an album as a carousel background without it appearing in your public gallery, or vice versa. At least one option must be enabled for any album shown on the website.
Move a Photo Between Albums
Photos can now be moved to a different album directly from the photo edit form. Select the destination album from a dropdown and save.
Donor PAN Number Visible in Donations List
The donor's PAN number now appears beneath the donor's name in the donations list, making it easier to identify donors at a glance without opening the donor detail page.
AI Extraction for Organisation PAN and Tax Certificates
Org admins can now upload their PAN card and 12A / 10AC tax certificates and have the platform extract the key fields automatically. Extracted data is shown for review and confirmation before being saved — no manual transcription needed.
Organisation Name in Subsite Header
A new setting in the website configuration lets you display your organisation name next to your logo in the desktop site header. Toggle it on or off from the website settings page.
Donation Categories Now Visible on the Event Page
Sponsorship / donation tiers configured for an event (introduced in V2.1) are now displayed directly on the public event detail page, above the ticket list, so visitors can see available tiers before starting registration. The "Get Tickets" button has also been renamed to "Register".
Fixes
Photo uploads were silently producing corrupt files
A storage configuration issue meant that in certain cases, photo files were being written incorrectly to cloud storage while the database record appeared to save successfully. The photo would appear in the system but could not be opened. This is now fixed.
Event cover images were heavily cropped on very wide screens
On displays wider than 2400px (e.g. 2560×1440), event cover images were cropped to a small strip. The maximum display height has been increased so images look correct at large resolutions. The cover image also now sits flush against the site header with no gap above it.
Event URL slug field was incorrectly blocking save
If you left the URL slug field blank (to let the platform generate one automatically), a client-side validation error prevented the form from submitting. This is fixed — leaving the slug blank works as intended.
Users from deactivated organisations are now logged out immediately
If an organisation is deactivated, any users still logged in are now logged out on their next page load rather than continuing to access the platform. The deactivation notice is also now shown correctly on the login page.
