Accept Donations for Programs
Donors can now contribute directly to a programme through your subsite — a completely new flow alongside event payments.
- Organisers can set up one or more donation options for any programme (e.g. "Sponsor a Kit – ₹1,000"), each with a name, description, and amount, managed from a new Options tab on the programme page.
- On the public side, the programme detail page and the new Program Spotlight section show a sidebar where visitors can select one or more options, enter a custom amount, and see a live running total as they choose.
- Donors complete payment via PhonePe through an info → confirm → pay → confirmation flow, and the donation appears against their donor record.
- Org admins can view and manage these orders from the donor detail page and a new orders configuration tab in the CMS dashboard.
Fixed-Price Sponsorship Tiers for Events
Events can now offer Donation Categories — fixed-price tiers (e.g. Bronze / Silver / Gold) as an alternative to standard per-ticket pricing.
- A purchaser selects a tier at Step 1 of checkout and pays the tier's fixed amount, regardless of the actual ticket subtotal.
- The difference between the tier amount and the ticket cost is automatically tracked as a donation portion and shown on the registration detail page.
- Each tier can cap the number of tickets available under it.
- When a tier is selected, discount codes and free-text donation entry are not applicable, keeping the pricing model unambiguous.
New Subsite Spotlight Sections
Three new sections are available in the subsite page editor, each surfacing a single piece of content you choose:
- Program Spotlight — shows the full detail of one training programme: description, open batches, centre location with a map link, and an Enquire button pre-filled with the programme name (now also including the donation sidebar above).
- Album Spotlight — showcases one photo album as a responsive grid with a lightbox for full-size viewing and Prev/Next navigation.
- Folder Spotlight — displays all documents from a single folder, ideal for a focused page such as an audit reports listing. The section heading always reflects the actual folder name.
No More 15-Page Limit on Subsites
The previous limit of 15 pages per subsite has been removed. You can now build out your site with as many pages as you need.
Separate Board and Staff Sections on Your Team Page
Team members can now be tagged as Board of Trustees or Organisational Staff, and your public subsite Team page displays them in separate sections accordingly.
Confirmation Email Footer Image
Event organisers can now add a footer image (e.g. a sponsor banner or thank-you graphic) to registration confirmation emails, set from the event edit form using the existing document vault picker.
Event Payments Now Linked to Donor Records
When someone pays for an event registration, their payment is now linked to a Donor record (matched by email and PAN), the same way standalone donations are tracked. This means:
- A donor's full giving history — including event payments — is visible in one place on their donor profile.
- PAN card copies submitted at event checkout are now stored against the donor rather than the order, avoiding duplicate uploads on repeat registrations.
- The donor's Event Orders tab shows a clickable Registration ID linking straight to the registration detail.
Fixes
Donation receipts and confirmation emails no longer go missing
Receipts generated from event and programme donation payments were missing their shareable print link in some cases, which silently prevented the donor confirmation email from being sent. This is now fixed — every successful payment reliably produces a receipt with a working link and triggers the donor's email.
Donation orders no longer stuck in "Initiated" forever
If a donor closed their browser or lost connection mid-payment without returning to the site, their order could remain stuck in an "Initiated" state indefinitely. A safety-net check now automatically resolves these orders within about 15–20 minutes.
Payment retries no longer corrupt order status
If a donor retried a failed payment, it was possible for the system to incorrectly process the original failed attempt after the retry had already succeeded, overwriting the correct status. This race condition is now closed.
Program donation checkout no longer fails on submit
A security-token issue was causing some donation submissions on the Program Spotlight section to fail outright. This is fixed.
Gender field validation on Beneficiary forms
The gender selection on beneficiary forms previously allowed an unintended blank option to be submitted even though the field is required. Required-field validation now works correctly, and the same fix improves validation for all radio-button groups across the platform.
Multi-select and checkbox fields render correctly on registration forms
A further round of fixes ensures multi-select and checkbox-style custom fields display with proper styling on the registration form, building on the Step 2 checkout fix shipped earlier.
Improved resilience for background payment processing
Behind-the-scenes payment scheduling failures are now handled gracefully and logged, rather than potentially leaving an order in a broken state without anyone being notified.
