Donations & Receipts
Yes. Use the document gallery section at the bottom of the donation form to attach proof-of-payment documents.
Yes. Users with Org Admin or Org Trustee roles can edit donation records. Org Members can only view donations.
The Towards field captures the purpose or designation of the donation — for example, a specific project, fund, or cause. It is mandatory for every donation.
Only Org Admins have permission to delete donation records. A confirmation prompt is shown before deletion.
Donation IDs are system-generated and immutable to ensure uniqueness and data integrity across all records. They cannot be modified after creation.
Under Indian tax law, cash donations above ₹2,000 do not qualify for an 80G tax deduction. The system enforces this rule automatically.
The system uses the Indian financial year calendar (April 1 – March 31). When you enter the donation date, the financial year is calculated in YYYY-YY format. For example, a donation on 15 June 2024 falls in financial year 2024-25.
